It’s National Peanut Butter Month!

National Peanut Butter Lover's Month - 2It’s National Peanut Butter Lover’s Month and officially means that it’s no longer weird that I actively try to eat peanut butter for every meal.  However, with how versatile peanut butter is, can you blame me? And I can’t be alone in this because Americans spend almost $800 million a year on peanut butter. From smoothies to dinners and every meal in between you can put peanut butter in just about anything!

Peanut Butter Cookies by Martha Stewart

If you want to take your emersion into peanut butter slow, you can start with the classics: peanut butter cookies. I love these delicious peanut butter cookies in any shape but I especially love them when they’re shaped like dinosaurs!

Use these 3D Dinosaur Cookie Cutters to make awesome prehistoric cookies! You can make them fight, make them kiss, bite their heads off, they don’t care; they’re cookies! Who says we can’t play with our food?

If you prefer cake to cookies, might I suggest this Peanut Butter Cake with Chocolate Frosting. It’s wonderful and super simple – simple enough to make whenever your peanut butter craving strikes.

Like the peanut butter cookies, this cake is good in any shape but for some reason it tastes even better when it’s owl shaped.
National Peanut Butter Lover's Month - Cake Molds
The Shape & Bake Mini Cake Mold in the shape of of vintage barn owls is perfect for anyone with an air for the whimsical. Anyone can easily use this baking mold to make tiny cakes – minimal baking skills required, we promise! The silicone baking tray is available in orange or blue, and makes the perfect gift for owl lovers.
You can also use this CAKEWICH Sandwich Cake Mold to make amazing peanut butter cakes while paying homage to the most traditional vessel for peanut butter – the PB&J.

Fred Cakewich MoldThis cake pan comes with instructions to make the peanut-butter-and-jelly cake seen here, but the cake design is so versatile you can make just about anything – maybe an Elvis inspired PB & banana cake.

Now, if you’re anything like me, your need for cake cannot be stifled by such things as “baking time” and not having anyone to share it with. For you, I present the most magical of cake: the microwave mug cake. This 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Mug Cake will change your life. Well, maybe not but it will make your life better for the 3.7 seconds it takes you to eat it.
National Peanut Butter Lover's Month - Mug Cake
Made out of things you probably already have and ready in minutes, this cake is perfectly suited for your instantaneous peanut butter needs.  And if anyone tries to hone in on your new found deliciousness, make sure to make it in a mug that tells them to back off.

National Peanut Butter Lover's Month - Mug This Shakespearean Insult Mug is great for just such an occasion because anyone who comes between you and your peanut butter definitely deserves to be called “a lump of foul deformity.” The Shakespearean Insults Mug contains up to 30 insults from Shakespearean plays. There’s nothing wrong with expanding your vocabulary and the insults mug is a perfect gift for English majors and graduates, as well as fans of ole’ William Shakespeare himself
If you do, on the other hand, have many many friends with whom to share your peanut butter, I strongly recommend these Peanut Butter Buckeyes by Brown Eyed Baker.
Perfect for any party these buckeyes are simple and easy to share.  You can keep classy by arranging them on platters with a simple toothpick OR you can refuse to let go of Halloween and use these Zombie Party Picks.

Food Zombies Party Picks make the perfect Halloween Party statement or they can be perfect for the random survivors (who are bound to be hungry) of this inevitable zombie apocalypse we’ve heard so much about. No matter the occasion, top off any nice appetizer or dessert with the Food Zombies Party Picks!
