National Salad Month

Break out the leafy greens, everyone! May is National Salad Month. In this post, I’m going to be sharing with you three great salad items we have right here at 2Shopper and my favorite salad recipe for good measure!

But what if you want to have your salad (at work) and eat it, too? Have no fear, the Eco Deluxe Salad Bowl is here! This salad-to-go bowl collapses to half the size for easy storage and includes a separate container for dressing. (Bonus random knowledge: the spellings “collapsible” and “collapsable” are both correct!) It even comes with a spork that fits right into the lid! The base is microwave safe (in case you eat your salad warm…? whatever floats your boat, man) and dishwasher safe, but the lid is neither. I repeat: do not microwave the lid or wash it in your dishwasher; you will regret it.

My favorite salad recipe is great for late spring and summer, but I eat it year round! Jamie’s Cranberry Spinach Salad is ready in just 20 minutes and compliments a brunch, lunch, or light evening meal. (You can, of course, also eat it on it’s own, as I tend to do because I’d rather eat than cook.) I leave out the white wine vinegar, but other than that small change, this recipe is spot on!
