Happy Halloween! We witch that everyone makes the best of this howliday, even though it falls smack in the middle of the week, and that only the best of treats befall all our readers, friends, family, acquaintances, etc.
And now, on Halloween, we humor you with those moments that probably only come up in therapy, the ones that we dug deep for in our psyches and photo albums just for your entertainment. Today, we bloggers for 2shopper subject ourselves to some embarrassment with pictures of us as children in bad costumes in exchange for some laughs. So have a few at our expense!
World’s Saddest Flower
Sasha, Content Management Assistant/ Blogger, as a Daisy or something
You’d think flowers are supposed to be happy and smiling like in Disney cartoons. This pouting pansy just didn’t know what made her feel worse: the Sharpie eyelashes on her eyelids or that the staples on her outfit indicated it was paper and was made ten minutes before the Halloween pageant.
Most Obscure Costume
Darlene, Sales team/ Blogger, as a… we’re not sure what
An interpretation of an Asian doll? A Geisha? Something having to do with Rainbow Brite? This traditional Korean dress had us guessing even after this post was published. At least it didn’t require cheapness (see above) or face paint (see below)!
Leslie, Office Assistant/ Blogger, as Aunt Jemima
YES, Aunt Jemima. All it took was a little black face paint, a large pillow for her butt, and irrevocable damage to her ego once she saw herself in a mirror. Hence, we have the crying kindergartner with smeared face paint here.
Oh, we know you’ve got stories about embarrassing Halloween costumes, so spill it below! But for now, hopefully your Halloween will be less pitiful and weird!
