Planning for Pumpkin Food Paradise: 3 Simple Recipes

What to do with all that goo? Pumpkin goo, that is. After carving a pumpkin, you’re left with a heaping mess of membrane and seeds. Most people throw them away. Alas, they can be used for tasty treats! We’ve scoured the net over (actually, just for some easy recipes that use pumpkin or pumpkin seeds. Enjoy!

So you like to bake? These Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins are a great start to plenty of pumpkin-filled projects! Easy ingredients like cream cheese, eggs, and your basic baking items (vanilla extract, sugar, flour, etc.) mean you probably already have a majority of these ingredients in your pantry. What’s better, this recipe includes a homemade streusel frosting, including crunchy pecans and comforting cinnamon. If you plan on serving this at a party or some function, consider cooking them in Teacupcake molds for a unique presence and some extra compliments.

Imagine the intoxicating aromas of both pumpkin and gingerbread throughout your humble home, the feeling of holidays all around, all warm and cozy. Plus, it sure beats fruit cake! And when you use these Heart-shaped Measuring Spoons, the love you filled it with will be that much more obvious. (Hey, we can be cheesy from time to time!)

Pumpkin is becoming one of my favorite flavors to go with anything and everything. But I have to say that Pumpkin pie along side a nice hot cup of pumpkin latte is definitely at the top of my treats list.

When we were done with our pumpkin this year, me made a loaf and toasted up the seeds. Usually we just toast with plain old salt, but that recipe sounds really yummy!
