Fall Back in Comfort with Fall TV

November 13, 2012

For all my fellow TV buffs out in cyber land, one of the biggest highlights of autumn is fall TV, the return of our most beloved shows on television. For over two months, we waited and wondered about our favorite characters, but thank goodness that’s all over. By now, shows have aired season premieres and have revealed their most shocking cliffhangers. We’ve gotten a taste of new developments and storylines, but we need more!

Cozy Remote Control Tidy

Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do to speed up time to get to “next week’s” new episode, but in the meantime, we can make our TV viewing experience the most comfortable it can be. Let’s start with the essentials, like your remote control.  If you’ve ever spent time tossing up your couch cushions or scanning the crevices of your living room looking for your remote control, you can kiss those days goodbye with the Cozy Remote Control Tidy.  With this uniquely shaped remote stand that comes in black or gray, you can keep up to four controls in one organized place, ready to flip the channels when you are.

For TV night: everything you could possibly want at arm’s reach.

Everyone knows how important your remote control is, but you can’t have a real TV night without snacks. Instead of pulling out your old TV tray (a-la-the-nineties), you can try the Laid Back Arm Rest Organizer and TV Tray (Whew! What a mouthful). Like its name, you can pack a lot into one thing. The Laid Back Arm Rest Organizer consists of a firm tabletop perfect for a cold drink and some popcorn, with pockets for keeping your remote controls tidy, as well as six additional pockets for pens, glasses, magazines, and more. This heavy-duty, canvas organizer comes with an adjustable grip to fit on any arm rest from your couch to your favorite comfy chair–a must-have for TV lovers of the world.

The most comfy stones you’ll ever sit on.

Now that we’ve covered the obvious bases for TV night, it’s time to take it to the next level…with Felted Wool Stones! These oversized floor cushions may resemble rocks, but they are made from 100% merino wool and provide comfort whether you’re looking to sit or spread out on them. Various sizes allow you to arrange the cushions in whichever way you like. And, because these floor cushions are made by women workers in South Africa, you can splurge on them and feel good about supporting a worthy cause.

Speaking of spreading out on the floor, for those of you who like a little magic in your lives, behold! Nanimarquina’s Flying Carpet!

Experience a little magic with these Flying Carpet rugs

This is a fun collection of rugs that makes lounging around and watching TV a truly 3D experience. You can arrange and rearrange the rugs and felt-covered wedges to get comfortable no matter what. I’m sure “Once Upon A Time” fans out there would appreciate these flying carpets. :)

And finally, with all this talk about lounging around, getting comfortable, and watching TV, we can’t forget about bundling up in Snuggies. With so many similar products out now, there’s bound to be one for you, like this Batman throw blanket with sleeves.

Comfy and cool, er, warm!

It’s one size fits most and great for staying warm without sacrificing your freedom of movement.

Pair these suggested items with your favorite shows and you’ll have an instant hit! My faves are “Once Upon A Time,” “New Girl,” “Modern Family,” and “Glee.”

What are some of the shows that have you hooked? We’d love to hear!
